The school board has hired Andy Phillips as Executive Director to spearhead the launching of New City School. Andy’s almost 30 years as a proven non-profit leader and pastor coupled with his extended experience with students makes him an excellent choice for this vital project in Harrisburg.
The new board and her advisors adds a further leadership dimension being made up of educators, school administrators, financial professionals and business leaders. These community leaders will ensure that a quality Classical Christian education in a supportive safe environment is provided.
Targeting an opening date of September 2016. New City School will offer classes for young elementary students. Each class will be staffed with a teacher and an aide. Limiting class size, an open enrollment policy and an income driven tuition structure makes for a school that is accessible and diverse thus creating a rich, vibrant learning community.
